At Dollar Donations we’re building a grassroots platform to power change. We empower small-dollar donors to change the world by giving as little or as much as they can.

We partner with other nonprofits whose work we believe in. By removing the financial hurdle common to most large-dollar donations, we’re changing the way change is made and opening up a world of opportunities!

Through micro-transactions we are poised to make a meaningful impact on the nonprofit world by pooling our small collective dollars to drive something much bigger.

Our goal is for teens in 9th-12th grade to make a difference in our community by collectively selecting and donating to a local charity.

Every member donates $100 annually ($25 for each quarterly meeting) and 100% of the donations are given to the selected charity. At each meeting, three vetted local charities will be randomly selected for consideration.

During the quarterly meetings, the member who nominated the charity will make a brief presentation about why it should be chosen. After the presentation, members will get the chance to ask any questions.

Then, anonymous voting will be held and the charity with the most votes will receive the combined $25 from each member ($2500 from 100 teens). The selected charity is invited back to the next meeting to share the impact of our donation.

The Ladybug Hub was established to cater to homelessness by giving one a chance to find information on homelessness.

The platform accommodates various parties such as the Government, academia, plus social service providers who employ research differently. The latest resources aim at curbing homelessness, native persons, LGBTQ2S+ incidents, teenagers, among others.

Chelsea's Charity officially kicked off when Chelsea asked her guests at her 10th birthday party to bring art supplies as a donation in lieu of gifts for herself :-)

Chelsea has a desire to support children and help them know that art is a start to healing, expression, communicating and so much more!

Huge thank you to those who have contributed already; it means so much to Chelsea!  Keep us in prayer as we embark on this exciting journey!

In 1995, 12-year-old Craig Kielburger read about Iqbal Masih, a child laborer of the same age who escaped slavery and was murdered for advocating for children’s rights. Iqbal’s story inspired him to take action and rally other youth to join his cause. It also showed Craig and Marc that people as young as them could drive significant change in the world.

Twenty-five years later, WE is a movement that gives young people and their teachers a platform and the tools to make a difference in their communities and in those around the world.

Kids Saving the Rainforest, located in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, is a 22-year-old US-based non-profit organization 501(c)(3). We focus on the rescue, research, and rehabilitation of sloths, primates, parrots, anteaters, sea turtles, and more.

In addition to contributing to scientific research, we install wildlife bridges, conduct reforestation projects, and educate local children about wildlife. Our jungle campus hosts students, teachers, and professionals from around the world who learn about wildlife in our rescue center and sanctuary.

When he was four years old, Jonas began volunteering on Skid Row with his family. Two short years later, he decided to take it one step further and start his own organization to benefit unhoused youth. Since then, Jonas has organized drives, picked up donations, spoke in front of thousands of people, and inspired everyone he met. Over the past thirteen years, Love in the Mirror has shared resources with over 80,000 people.

Sheltering Books is an Atlanta based charity, and was developed by three siblings; Mackenzie Bearup, Alex Bearup and Benjamin Bearup. The idea for this children’s charity came about after Mackenzie was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, and turned to literature as a form of escape.

When Mackenzie learned that a local shelter was building a library, her and her brothers decided to start collecting used books to donate to the shelter; hoping that children living there would find the same relief in stories that she did.

One way we promote youth philanthropy is by investing in projects that we receive through our responsive grantmaking process. Another way is by proactively investing in Youth Pods.

Youth Pods are groups of teens located throughout our grantmaking areas. With support from their local community foundation, these groups are charged with learning philanthropy by using their own ideas to demonstrate a love of mankind.

Founded by then 12-year-old Adom Appiah, Ball4Good is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit supporting the community and other nonprofit organizations through sports.

The nonprofit began as a school project during the fall of 2016. Mrs. Kelsea Turner of Spartanburg Day School inspired her students to dedicate 20% of their history period to a service project. Mrs. Turner called the project 20Time. Ball4Good is a result of Adom’s 7th grade 20Time project.
